I have been lucky enough to have been a pilates client of Ange’s for over 4 years now. I had dabbled in Pilates in the past, but it was not a constant form of exercise for me until we started training together.
From the moment I stepped into Ange’s studio, I felt safe, supported and really excited about learning more about Pilates. I attend twice a week with a close friend for a private class and I can honestly say that those 2 hours are a highlight of every week.
I am often surprised by the changes in our bodies over the years and the strength and control we now have. Ange has an amazing way of making you feel incredibly comfortable, confident and is all about honoring the body you have today. She now knows our bodies so well, she can really pick up on what we need in each session and how we have improved. I also love how she is always looking to improve her craft, understanding new ways of doing exercises and sharing her knowledge with us as clients.

As a client of both mat and reformer work with Ange for the last two years, my overall strength and flexibility has improved exponentially. I love that Ange encourages consistency (I shoot for 3 days a week) and honoring the body we have. Each of us is on our own journey, but through Pilates I have found a greater range of movement in tennis, horse riding and skiing. "I have been lucky enough to have Ange as my Pilates instructor for 15 years. From what started as a small class every second Saturday it has now developed into multiple morning and evening classes in Genesis’s purpose built Pilates and Yoga studio. She also takes Reformer training classes in the main gym which is a must do if you really want to get serious about core training!
What I love about Ange’s classes is the variety and the genuine care and attention she pays to each person – whether they have injuries, are pregnant, want to target specific areas or have suggestions she is always keen to discuss and adapt if possible. I don’t believe there has been a single class that I have attended where Ange hasn’t been upbeat, full of energy and enthusiasm.
Ange’s unique and personalised style of training appeals to old and young and it’s great to have the mix of people at the sessions. It’s also interesting to hear and share the latest food, exercise and fashion trends!"
